I am not a music major, nor am I a music minor. I played the piano for 5 years and sang for 7. But that's it for now with my musical career. I am simply someone who fucking loves music, especially live music. Raw sound. The bass trembling, beating in your chest. The possibility of making eye contact with someone who's voice you wake up to in the morning, sing-a-long to in the car, mouth the words to on the bus, have sex to, cry to, is like...I can't even come up with a simile for that. No, I am not a groupie. A groupie for live sound? Perhaps. But music--live, recorded whatever--is an experience. An experience I want to talk about. That is why I am here.
